The leadership and members of Odu’a Organization of Michigan put together a great Omo Odu’a Dinner and Social Mixer Party in the community at the Kenilworth Club in Detroit last Saturday, February 4, 2017.
The event was well attended by friends, business associates and quite a few strong advocacy groups in the Detroit metro area. The event gave the young adults an opportunity to network with one another and also network with strong advocacy groups that have been doing great work in the community in empowering new entrepreneurs and informing other about the resources available in Detroit.
Chef Godwin Ihentuge of Kenilworth Club provided the guests with a preview of his culinary selection which included chicken kabob, lamb ribs with curry sauce and vegetables. Yoruba moi moi, jollof rice and selected meats were prepared by a Yoruba caterer, Mrs. Emily Ogundaisi.
The Leadership of Odu’a Organization of Michigan must be highly commended for a great dinner and social mixer. The organizer were the Asiwaju/President and Igbakeji Aare /Vice-President of Odu’a Organization Mr. Shola Salako and Mr. David Adetokunbo Williams and members of their team, Ms. Princess Ogundipe and Ms. Renee Hudson.
Odu’a’s new generation of young leaders are leading the Odu’a Organization to greater heights, and they plan on relaunching the Odu’a language and cultural school.
