Mo ngbé ni ilú (America) : I live in (America)
Sé o fẹràn íbíyí : Do you like it here?
Órilẹ̀ édé Nigeria rẹ́wà : Nigeria is a beautiful country
Isẹ wo lonse fun ónjẹ́ : What do you do for a living?

Mo fẹran Yoruba : I like Yoruba

Èdè tí kò rọrūn ní : It’s a hard language
Èdè ti o rọ́rún ní : It’s an easy language

Ma Se iwọn ti mole se lati kọ : I will try my best to learn
