Bawo lósé wà sí : How are you ? (friendly)
Sé alāfia ló wà : How are you ? (polite)
Mówà dāda, Ẹsé : I’m fine, thank you !
Iwọ nkọ : And you ? (friendly)
Iwọ nā nkọ́ : And you ? (polite)
Oda tabi Odárá : Good

Ko fibẹ̄ dárá : Not so good
Opẹ tí mótí rí ẹ́ : Long time no see
Āro rẹ sọ́mí : I missed you
Kilo nsẹlẹ : What’s new ?
kòsi n tuntun : Nothing new
Osé pùpọ́ : Thank you (very much)?
Kò tọpẹ́ : You’re welcome ! (For “thank you”)
Inu mi dun : My pleasure
Wọ́lé wá : Come in ! (or enter !)
