Black History Month; “The Physicists” are Trailblazers, Inspirational Humans all African Americans Physicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Hadiyah Nicole Green and George Robert Carruthers.
George Robert Carruthers is a doctor of aeronautical engineering and he pioneered work on the ultraviolet spectrum, inventing cameras for NASA Apollo 16 mission and the space shuttle. He teaches astrophysics at Howard University and lectures at the office at Naval Research in D.C.
Neil DeGrasse Tyson is an Astrophysicist and Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose center for Earth and Science in New York.
A prolific writer and lecturer, he founded the department of Astrophysics for the American Museum of Natural History in 1997.
Hadiyah Nicole Green earned her PhD in Physics in 2012. She interned at NASA, there she participated in medical research on isolating cancer nano particles through lamination and received a 1.1 million dollars grant to begin cancer treatment with laser technology clinical trails. She also teaches at Morehead.
